production blog- filming in the park

Hey blog! My group and I just got home from filming at the park. We went to holiday park after school. With us was our two main characters and then the people in my group. We were playing soccer and just having fun. It was very hard to get everything exactly how we wanted. Not everyone was cooperating. We had fun though an got that filming part out of the way. Now Alyssa and have been editing together. We have been talking this over for a long time. Making sure we agree on which parts to keep and which to delete. Also checking to see that we filmed all the part we need and didn't miss anything. If we did it is ok because holiday park is an easy place for everyone to meet up. The park part of this film is so cute. I cant wait for you guys to see it. We have been working very hard. Next we have to go to the beach. That will be so fun. The filming doesn't even seem like work because we are with friends. And it is good that our group gets along so well. That is all I have for you guys today. Talk to you soon!!

Hi everybody, my name is Stella Edler and here is a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale Florida. I love the beach so much, I grew up going to the keys and Bahamas, just living in my bathing suit and spending all my time in the sun getting sandy and swimming. But I truly am a country girl at heart. my grandparents live in Arizona so I also grew up riding horses and going mudding and practically living in cowboy boots. A lot of my friends call me a red neck and say that sometimes when I'm talking my country accent comes out. I would say that I am pretty active, I really only play soccer but I enjoy volleyball and going surfing and snorkeling. I really want to get my scuba certification and go swimming with sharks. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?     I made a conscious effort to both follow and deviate from accepted conventions in the selected media when developing my project. My music video conventions stayed in the same genre, being R&B, throughout the whole planning and production process. My group and I knew from the beginning that we were going to stay with the artist, SZA, and her style of music. We all really enjoy listening to her songs and the lyrics within each song are easy to build a story upon. Knowing that we were going to use SZA as our song artist, it was not a hard process when editing because none of us got tired of hearing her voice over and over. She is also one of my group members and my favorite artist so we are very familiar with her songs and I know how the music video story could be laid out relating to the lyrics.
