Our Pitch



 Hey guys, welcome back to todays blog. so today I will be explaining to you guys our pitches for the final task

First pitch: A magic bracelet is found, but everything is not what it seems

Second pitch: A woman grows up with a bad childhood. She is not normal as she gets older

First pitch: An actor finds this bracelet and it turns out to be magic. The actor accidently wishes for something. He/she wished for a cooler more popular life. On the final wish there is a catch.  I think this is a good pitch because it is something that isn't impossible to do. My group is 2 boys and 2 girls so it is also easy for us to split the jobs.

Second pitch: A woman was abused and neglected as a child. So as an adult she tried to relive the childhood she didn't get. Goes out and tries to play with little kids. Acts like a baby and attempts to get I stroller. Just weird things like that. This one could be fun to film. But is is a little more sensitive to some and is kind of dark

After discussing with my group. The final decision was to use the first pitch. It is simple and will be fun. I hope you enjoyed reading about the itches. See you next time!

Hi everybody, my name is Stella Edler and here is a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale Florida. I love the beach so much, I grew up going to the keys and Bahamas, just living in my bathing suit and spending all my time in the sun getting sandy and swimming. But I truly am a country girl at heart. my grandparents live in Arizona so I also grew up riding horses and going mudding and practically living in cowboy boots. A lot of my friends call me a red neck and say that sometimes when I'm talking my country accent comes out. I would say that I am pretty active, I really only play soccer but I enjoy volleyball and going surfing and snorkeling. I really want to get my scuba certification and go swimming with sharks. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?     I made a conscious effort to both follow and deviate from accepted conventions in the selected media when developing my project. My music video conventions stayed in the same genre, being R&B, throughout the whole planning and production process. My group and I knew from the beginning that we were going to stay with the artist, SZA, and her style of music. We all really enjoy listening to her songs and the lyrics within each song are easy to build a story upon. Knowing that we were going to use SZA as our song artist, it was not a hard process when editing because none of us got tired of hearing her voice over and over. She is also one of my group members and my favorite artist so we are very familiar with her songs and I know how the music video story could be laid out relating to the lyrics.
