intro blog- final task

 Hey blog, It's me, Stella, I'm back! So first I'm going to talk a little about myself as a reminder for you. I am 15 years old. I was born and raised in Florida, so I am a big beach girl. But I also am a country girl. I am a good student and I have good grades. I want to either do something with kids when I grow up or in the crime industry. But I also have a really big thing for cars, so that would also be something cool to do. Ok so now I am going to tell you about the new project. It is a music video! Basically I will be getting in a group of at most four and then have to pick a song. then create a two minute opening sequence of an original film. Our video will have around 15 shots and angles. It will also tell a story. It will have clean transitions and good lighting. Me and my group still have to talk over the pitch and we want to do. The story that it is going to tell. And the type of genre it will be. The type of editing and transitions. Where the  video is going to be filmed. All those little details. So I will get back to you soon when I have that all figured out. See ya.

Hi everybody, my name is Stella Edler and here is a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale Florida. I love the beach so much, I grew up going to the keys and Bahamas, just living in my bathing suit and spending all my time in the sun getting sandy and swimming. But I truly am a country girl at heart. my grandparents live in Arizona so I also grew up riding horses and going mudding and practically living in cowboy boots. A lot of my friends call me a red neck and say that sometimes when I'm talking my country accent comes out. I would say that I am pretty active, I really only play soccer but I enjoy volleyball and going surfing and snorkeling. I really want to get my scuba certification and go swimming with sharks. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?     I made a conscious effort to both follow and deviate from accepted conventions in the selected media when developing my project. My music video conventions stayed in the same genre, being R&B, throughout the whole planning and production process. My group and I knew from the beginning that we were going to stay with the artist, SZA, and her style of music. We all really enjoy listening to her songs and the lyrics within each song are easy to build a story upon. Knowing that we were going to use SZA as our song artist, it was not a hard process when editing because none of us got tired of hearing her voice over and over. She is also one of my group members and my favorite artist so we are very familiar with her songs and I know how the music video story could be laid out relating to the lyrics.
