How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?     I made a conscious effort to both follow and deviate from accepted conventions in the selected media when developing my project. My music video conventions stayed in the same genre, being R&B, throughout the whole planning and production process. My group and I knew from the beginning that we were going to stay with the artist, SZA, and her style of music. We all really enjoy listening to her songs and the lyrics within each song are easy to build a story upon. Knowing that we were going to use SZA as our song artist, it was not a hard process when editing because none of us got tired of hearing her voice over and over. She is also one of my group members and my favorite artist so we are very familiar with her songs and I know how the music video story could be laid out relating to the lyrics.   Here is the final “Gone Girl” music video. i hope you enjoy it, my group and I worked very hard 

 GUYS, my group and I finished filming. There are still some things we have to fix. But even without the editing, it's honestly pretty good. Hailey and Marissa did amazing as the actors. Kylee is going to do such a great job with the editing. I feel like the editing will be the hardest part. We will all have to agree on the same scenes. We have to pick the transitions. We might add some features. And the background noises will be the hardest. I have no idea how we are going to get a car crash noise. But we did pretty good agreeing on the filming. Like the shots and angles. And what the video should be about. And who has what job. Just stuff like that. I know I keep saying this. But I am so excited for you to watch the music video. I am so excited to see all of our hard work put together. I really hope it all pays off. I also hope you enjoy it. Cant wait to see what you think of it.
